Anyone who has seen Howl’s Moving Castle wants to live there. And who can blame them, really? Who wouldn’t want to live in a castle that can walk on two legs, and transport you to different worlds with the turn of a dial? Sadly, Ben Millett can’t build you the real thing, but he shows us how he created this amazing papercraft version.

Check out the full set of photos on Flickr, and the time-lapse video he took of the entire painstaking process below:

He notes that the PDF he used is no longer available (although the book is available on Amazon Japan), however a little birdie told me you could probably find a torrent or download of it somewhere on teh intarwebs.

Not that the little birdie would know, since that would be illegal.

And definitely not that the little birdie would already have downloaded it. Definitely not.

‘Cuz that would be illegal.

With Captain Murphy as Chief Aramaki, White Debbie as Major Kusanagi, Stormy Waters as Togusa, Marco as Bateau, Sparks as Ishikawa, Hesh as Garbage Collector 1, Old Gus as Nakamura and Doctor Quinn as The Puppetmaster, the syncing on this is sheer perfection. Huge props to YouTuber THEMICROMAN.

What could possibly make the hours you spend sitting in front of your computer “working” (read: wanking) more enjoyable? Resting your wrist between two silicone lady pillows, that’s what.

With 12 different designs (and an option for bulk orders, to make Christmas shopping for the whole family easy), your wrist will thank you for it. And if you’re an ass-man instead of a breast-man, they’ve got a cheeky version for you, too.

From the website:

Your pals will love it and poke at it, then ask you if they can have it (to which you say no and point them to this website). Your girlfriend will probably think you’re a pervert… then take it for herself because it’s just that comfortable. Dad will most definitely poke at it. Mom will roll her eyes. Then poke at it. Feminists seethe and curse our existence!

Good times!

“Users reported that their mousing wrist… was frequently less strained than the other”. I can’t imagine why.

The best part is that it doubles as a face-rest for those late nights when you’ve fallen asleep at the computer.

The theme of this year’s BrikCon is “Big in Japan” and different Lego artists will be showing off their unique pieces that celebrate Japanese culture. Ochre Jelly’s theme is “Miyazakitopia” and will pay homage to the great Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki.

I would totally live in a place with a 13 foot tall 7-nippled rabbit.
