When I was younger, back when MTV played videos and cars were a dollar, I remember loving this video. Total Eclipse of the Heart: Literal Video Version has ruined that for me, but what’s taken its place is hilarious, so no hard feelings.
The muppets are awesome – everyone knows that. But a duet between the Swedish Chef and Beaker singing the Habanera from Carmen is awesome-covered awesome with awesome filling.
This is not new by any means, but I would be remiss in leaving it out on a blog that is supposed to include all of the things I love the most about the internet. This is, quite possibly, the most epic boot to the head mankind has ever been blessed enough to witness.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could see realistic computer generated nekkid boobies bouncing over and over in an endless loop? And wouldn’t it be freaking awesome if you could pick the size of the boobies and level of bounce?
Yes, I know this video is two and a half years old. I don’t care. I re-watch it every few months, and it’s as funny each time as the first time I watched it.

This incredibly sexy Macbook case from twelvesouth almost makes me want to read paper books again.$79 is actually not a bad price for this level of awesome. They market it as a theft-deterrent, which is just silly, but it’s a sexy case nonetheless.

That’s right – Teh Awesome is back! We’ve shifted the focus from long, collected listed of awesomeness that take a lot of time to curate to a different format. Shorter posts, linking out to the things that we find awesome.
Okay, I made that last bit up, but this bug is legit. That thing isn’t from a scene in Aliens and it’s name isn’t a spell from Harry Potter – though it totally should be. It’s ferral, and it is yet another reminder that science is freakin’ awesome.
