Finally, a religious text I can really get behind. The lolcat Bible Translation Project, a project dedicated to translating the entire Bible into lolspeak started in July of 2007 and they most of the Bible translated.

It makes at least as much sense as the original Bible, and at least this one admits to being made up silliness.

For example, the Ceiling Cat prayer:

Teh Ceiling Cat of us, whu haz cheezeburger, yu be spechul

Yu ordered cheezburgerz,

Wut yu want, yu gets, srsly.

In ceiling and on teh flor.

Giv us dis day our dalee cheezburger.

I opted to make the brain slugs themselves from gum paste, with royal icing eyes, and flower stamen antennae that I attempted to dye green with food coloring (and very vaguely succeeded in doing so). They are vanilla cupcakes from scratch, with some slightly grenadine flavored buttercream icing brains.

If you haven’t seen the brainslug scenes from Futurama, you fail at life. But we’ve given you a chance to redeem yourself.

How it Works

Codeorgan first scans the text content on the page, and then removes any characters that do not appear on the musical scale (so anything other than A through G). It then determines which is the most common letter (or in this case, the most common note). If it’s an even note, the Major scale is used, if it’ an uneven number, the Minor scale is used. It then uses additional calculations to pick synth and drum loops. For a more detailed explanation, see the screenshot below:

Since the music is based on your page content, each time you update your website, the music will change. I hope they add a song download option soon, so I can fill my ipod with nothing but the auto-generated sounds of 15 years of me writing bullshit on the web.
