Anyone who has seen Howl’s Moving Castle wants to live there. And who can blame them, really? Who wouldn’t want to live in a castle that can walk on two legs, and transport you to different worlds with the turn of a dial? Sadly, Ben Millett can’t build you the real thing, but he shows us how he created this amazing papercraft version.

He notes that the PDF he used is no longer available (although the book is available on Amazon Japan), however a little birdie told me you could probably find a torrent or download of it somewhere on teh intarwebs.

Not that the little birdie would know, since that would be illegal.

And definitely not that the little birdie would already have downloaded it. Definitely not.

If I grew up with parents as awesome as this little girl has, I probably wouldn’t be the editor of a nerd blog and would have a fulfilling, productive life. Instead, I find myself coveting a 5 year old’s epic gear.

If they ever made this in real-people sizes, I would wear this shit to work every day. It would at least liven up my commute.

With Captain Murphy as Chief Aramaki, White Debbie as Major Kusanagi, Stormy Waters as Togusa, Marco as Bateau, Sparks as Ishikawa, Hesh as Garbage Collector 1, Old Gus as Nakamura and Doctor Quinn as The Puppetmaster, the syncing on this is sheer perfection. Huge props to YouTuber THEMICROMAN.
